Plum Crumble with Hans Freitag Day Dreams Cookies
About 17.6 oz. plums
2 Tbs Sugar
1 Tspn Cinnamon
For the crumble:
4.4 oz. Flour
About 1.8 oz Hans Freitag Day Dream Cookies (without jelly filling)
2.8 oz Sugar
2.8 oz Almonds
Dash of Vanilla
2.6 oz. Butter (melted)
Dash of Cinnamon, to taste.
Wash and pit the plums; cut them in half, then
place in pie dish.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon
For the crumble: chop / grind up the almonds and quickly roast them in a pan over medium heat. Remove from heat and mix in a bowl with the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle this mixture over the plums.
Bake @ 400 degrees for 35 minutes.Either by hand, or with a mortar and pestle, crumble the Hans Freitag cookies. Melt the butter and add the crumbled cookies to the warm, melted butter and crumble this mixture over the baked plums.
