Unlike real fortune cookies, Pechkeks Misfortune Cookies are crude and direct with a dash of dark humor. Each package, containing a black fortune cookie along with a slip of paper containing a “misfortune”, has four different motifs; a screeching black cat, a frightened teddy bear, a devilish being and a demented person.
The sayings don’t tread lightly and are not for people easily offended: “Penny for your thoughts? You still owe me change!”
